Mr. Boichuk noted, “Stevedoring Company “Olvia” will be subject to 35-year concession. Requirements for investments: nearly 60 million USD for constructing a new grain terminal for handling 2 million tons per year. There will be an option for fixed or variable concession fees: the first payment type will depend on dividends paid in 2015-2017, while the second one will become clear at the tender stage. As for Kherson Sea Port, jointly with some other assets, it will be subject to 30-year concession. Requirements for investments: up to 10 million USD. Social duties will be the same as for Olvia. Tender will be announced by the end of this year”.
On September 5, principal conclusions of Feasibility Study regarding concession of state port operators – Stevedoring Company “Olvia” and SE “Kherson Commercial Sea Port” – were presented to trade unions and representatives of local authorities.
