On September 8, 2017, Interlegal partner Artem Skorobogatov participated in the International Conference «Integrated Transport Corridors in Europe – Asia Connection» held in Odessa by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
At several sessions, participants and experts discussed the issues of launching joint initiatives upon strengthening cooperation between Europe and Asia, international policies on transport network/corridor development and prospective projects/initiatives aimed at main transport networks. European Commission, World Bank, European Investment Bank, GUAM, TRASECA, BSEC and other representatives participated in discussion.
Unfortunately there were few business representatives at the event. Even among invited and registered Ukrainian big companies, only few joined numerous state officers and functionaries of various organizations. It shows that sometimes the Ukrainian government and business follow different ways and even are not interested in each other.
