Interlegal at Posidonia 2018

Alex Sysoev, Interlegal Freight Manager and Head of the Brokerage Department, participated in the largest international shipping forum Posidonia 2018 held in Greece.

Every two years Posidonia, one of the most prestigious global maritime forums, provides a unique chance to meet all the sea carriage market players and leaders, in one place and for a short period. The biennial forum gathers all the market players in Athens for five days. This year the exhibition, celebrating its 50th anniversary, gathered 2,000 exhibitors – a record number. Organizers report on nearly 22,000 delegates.

Apart from numerous conferences, seminars and presentation, held by many outstanding speakers in Metropolis, the largest exhibitions center in Athens, for one week, most shipping companies held private Open House Parties, mainly open for all attendants. Such events awoke the largest interest among the guests and gave a bright opportunity for talks in unofficial atmosphere.

Alex Sysoev noted: “Sea carriage market requires for regular and time-consuming focus on business processes. So it is difficult to overestimate the fact of such a unique, popular and useful event. For just a few days, at numerous events we could meet delegates of large shipping companies, charterers, fleet operators being actively concerned in the Ukrainian market sector”.
