The 11th Black Sea Container Summit, organized by “Ports of Ukraine” Publishing House and the Centre for Information and Analytics “BlackSeaTrans”, was held in Odessa on September, 7, in the framework of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) events.
In the framework of case study, Interlegal senior lawyer Karyna Gorovaya presented a report “Container carriage risks in today trade” which highlighted the risks to be taken into account under international trade contract conclusion and fulfillment of obligations upon cargo carriage and delivery to the consignee.
The summit is held traditionally as container show of Black Sea Region which is facing now market restoration after essential decrease of container carriages due to the global economic crisis (by 41.8% in 2009). The best companies – Black Sea container terminal operators were awarded certificates under results of their operation in 2016.
