On October 12, 2016, Interlegal partners Nikolay Melnykov and Mehmet Dogu (Turkey) participated in the meeting of the UBA Transport Law Committee in Odessa Region, on the theme “Peculiarities of vessel detention in Turkey”.
Interlegal Turkish partner Mehmet Dogu made a special report which highlighted measures to be taken by exporters under grain supply in Turkey in case of cargo shortage, and ship arrest practice.
At the meeting participants discussed the issues of ship arrest and cargo shortage in the Turkish practice.
Neither record-breaking storm nor shower impeded the maritime lawyers’ meeting!
