The International Law Offices Interlegal represented by Alexander Chebotarenko, the senior lawyer, and Yuliya Starova, the lawyer, took part in the assembly of members of the Association of Container Lines of Ukraine which took place on the 31st of October.

 

During the assembly the representatives of Maersk Line, ZIM, CMA CGM, Evergreen Line, Arkas lines have approved the final version of the amendments to the Draft Law of Ukraine on Peculiarities of Handling and Execution of Container Cargos, Containers and transport Vehicles which Transport Them. The Association of Container Lines of Ukraine has worked hard on preparation of its remarks and proposals to the Draft Law since the date of the Draft Law official publication on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the 5th of October 2012. The Association of Container Lines of Ukraine has sent its remarks and proposals to the Department of State Policy in Sea and River Transport.

 

The International Law Offices Interlegal as the legal advisor of the Association of Container Lines of Ukraine hopes that the sent proposals will be taken into account on adoption of the abovementioned Law and the favourable conditions for increase in container handling volume and the more effective use of the port infrastructure will be created indeed.
