Settlement of the incident with cargo on board a ship in a port of Ukraine
Lawyers of an international legal service Interlegal together with English colleagues have defended the ship-owner’s interests. For more than two months the vessel could not leave the Ukrainian port because of the problems, connected with the cargo temperature (corn). For a long time period the consignor, the owner and the port authorities could not find solution to unship the problem cargo back ashore. As a result, thanks to the efforts of all the parties the cargo and the ship-owner did coordinate the terms of going on with the passage, and the ship was able to leave the port with the cargo safely.
Interests of the ship-owner in Ukraine were represented by the associated partner Artem Skorobogatov and primary lawyer Sergey Kalytenko.
