Teams of participants offered their own methods of settling complex cases, such as legal relationship between shipowner, charterer and cargo owner, correlation between the parties to charter-party and commercial contract, defense of seafarers’ rights and many others.

In her report, Ekaterina Gadetskaya shared with the audience types of contracts applicable in sea carriages, principles of applying English law in international trade and the most widespread in Black Sea Region international contract proformas.

The audience solved also a practical task based on case from Interlegal law practice. A vivid interest in maritime law and international trade arose among the participants who imagined themselves as law experts and took initiative in case study.
