Interlegal lawyers arrested the fifth vessel this year, as maritime claim security based on the contract on cargo sea carriage, due to shipowner’s breach of the contract terms.
Previously, this year Interlegal lawyers arrested vessels for bunker and agency debt recovery.
Interlegal lawyer Mikhail Selivanov and junior lawyer Dmitriy Chirkin, under the general supervision of senior lawyer Alexey Remeslo, took actions as soon as possible, with regards to purpose of the vessel’s call at the sea port – cargo discharge.
The main problem to justify maritime claim was the requirement to prove reasons for breach of the contract. Interlegal teamwork facilitated the collection of sufficient evidence from different sources, as soon as possible, in order to justify the necessity in ship arrest.
