Following successful debt recovery for using berth and infrastructure owned by the Client – one of ship repair yards – it filed one more request to Interlegal on penal sanctions for late debt recovery.
Interlegal experts filed a claim to the court against the Debtor on charging 3% per annum and inflation costs for over a year and a half of debt accrual.
They proved at the court lawfulness of the Client claims, justified terms of fine accrual, the necessity in imposing penal sanctions and the Debtor’s obligation to reimburse the use of other’s funds.
This case shows a bright example of taking measures due to the late fulfillment of monetary obligations.
Interlegal lawyer Mikhail Selivanov and junior lawyer Igor Derus, under the general supervision of senior lawyer Karyna Gorovaya, led the case.
