The Client, acting as the Buyer under CFR supply contract, applied to Interlegal due to the Seller’s rejection to supply the goods under the contract.
Interlegal experts held negotiations with the counteragent for amicable settlement of the dispute. Without the Seller’s satisfactory reply, the Buyer declared the counteragent as default. According to Arbitration Clause, the Parties to the contract decided to apply to FOSFA in order to settle the dispute.
Interlegal lawyers initiated arbitration proceedings, followed by pressure towards the Seller by means of correct lawsuit: the Client received immediately a proposal for amicable settlement. The Seller reimbursed all the losses incurred by the Claimant due to non-delivery of the goods.
Interlegal lawyer Irina Yakimovskaya and senior associate Ekaterina Gadetskaya led the case.
