Interlegal defended the trading company’s interests under dispute settlement by the ICAC at the UCCI

As reported before, Interlegal lawyers provided legal support to the Client under case proceedings in the ICAC at the UCCI. Arbitration award charged losses exceeding 40 thousand USD from the unfair counteragent – Ukrainian company engaged in cargo handling and storage.
Later, Interlegal law team, despite the opponent’s counteractions, facilitated obtaining permission by court for arbitration award enforcement.
The debtor tried to appeal against such permission at the Supreme Court, but Interlegal lawyers defended the Client’s interests and proved the debtor’s groundless position just within a single court hearing. The Supreme Court left initial award in force and confirmed the Client’s right to recover full indebtedness from the counteragent, jointly with legal service costs exceeding 1,500 USD.
Now the Client obtained in full both principal indebtedness and reimbursement of costs in the framework of enforcement proceedings.
