The Client, large foreign shipowner, applied to Interlegal on representing its interests during PSC inspection upon compliance with international conventions on board of the foreign vessel, at the Chernomorsk Sea Port.
Since State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Ukraine, under the above control results, detected formal violations, prohibiting the vessel leaving the port until their elimination, the Client had to apply for legal assistance.
Situation was aggravated by the end of business week and loading process completion, which might cause two-day idle stay and the Shipowner’s essential losses due to quay dues and other payments.
With regards to the above, Interlegal experts arrived immediately on board of the vessel, studied the situation and coordinated promptly the Shipowner’s actions, having facilitated State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Ukraine re-inspection to be held as soon as possible. The latter’s results had no remarks.
Interlegal teamwork facilitated the Client’s vessel leaving Chernomorsk Sea Port within the scheduled terms.
Interlegal associate attorney Mikhail Selivanov led the case.
