Periodic publication “Yurydychna Gazeta” keeps up announcing pleasant news on its innovations. It provided a new rating of the Ukrainian law firms, based not only on financial and other statistic data for 2015, but also on reputation of the companies engaged in legal services.
89 bids were admitted to analysis which resulted in two ratings: Market Leaders (Top 50) and Practice Leaders. For all Ukrainian ratings, experts of “Yurydychna Gazeta” included maritime law into the list of practices for the first time. No doubt, it was a correct and expected action. It was Interlegal who ranked first in the new practice “Maritime/Transport Law” – pleasant news for the whole our team who developed this practice for 21 years, almost following independence of Ukraine. We thank our colleagues and experts for such high assessment we deserved indeed. Apart from objective criteria (aggregate cost of deals in the appropriate practice), the following additional criteria were used: colleagues’ recommendations and position in such respected ratings as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, Best Lawyers.
Organization committee of the rating “Market Leaders: rating of the Ukrainian law firms” consisted of experts engaged in rating research. They not only studied the bids of participants – the Ukrainian law firms, but also analyzed the data from independent open sources. We hope, it shows a real situation at the Ukrainian law service market which keeps integrating into the global market.
Grounded approach to rating formation gives a confidence in our force and inspires us on new achievements in transport and maritime law. The latter has been a key practice for us for many years. We congratulate the whole Interlegal team, express gratitude for a fruitful work and hope for new achievements.
