Interlegal jointly with Nautical Institute of Ukraine held Interlegal Shipping Talks – a meeting with shipping and logistics experts, aimed at discussing vital themes of navigation safety, international regulations and work specifications of shipping and crewing companies.
Offline meeting gathered nearly 30 guests, including shipbuilding and ship repair company owners and managers, freight forwarders, carriers and maritime agents.
Alex Sagaydak held a welcome speech with presentation “Vessel Certification in View of Pandemics” (Alex Sagaydak, CEO, Olvia Maritime, Polish Register of Shipping representative in Ukraine).
Later, Ruslan Khestanov, Interlegal business development manager & master mariner, presented a series of vital news for the Ukrainian crewing industry.
Vitalii Tolstik, Interlegal associated attorney, discussed an approach to the company’s projects “Ship Arrest & Release in Black Sea Region”.
Mykola Kozachenko, Interlegal lawyer, shared shipping news with the audience and showed case study from Interlegal practice in Black Sea Region.
Nikita Kocherba, Interlegal lawyer, explained in details all the advantages of ICAC arbitration, as shown by Interlegal case study.
Andrii Kaftanov, Interlegal associated attorney, highlighted the rules of business conduct in order to avoid problems and to combat actions of law enforcement bodies during ordinary and extraordinary inspections.
Finally, Marta Sverdlykivska, Interlegal associated attorney, shared the latest tax news with the guests.
