An international company – dairy product trader – applied to Interlegal upon dispute settlement between the Client and the Debtor arisen from non-delivery of prepaid batch of butter.
Despite Interlegal pretrial claims handling, the Debtor failed to reply to lawyers’ claims in due manner. Therefore the Parties had to apply to ICAC at the UCCI, since the contract contained a relevant arbitration clause.
ICAC at the UCCI has considered the case for nearly one year. Both Interlegal team and international arbitrator had to analyze large scope of primary documentation attached to case materials.
But lawyers could cope with all the aspects, having analyzed in details all the deliveries related to disputed legal relations, while ICAC at the UCCI arbitrator supported their arguments in full.
Following case consideration, arbitration court satisfied the Client’s claims and charged from the Debtor 85,000 EUR as prepayment for non-delivered goods.
Interlegal junior lawyer Taras Dragan and associate attorney Mikhail Selivanov led the case.
