M/v “Azovskiy Veter” taken afloat

M/v “Azovskiy Veter”, which got aground on January 27, 2014 with cargo on board, is sailing to Kherson for repair works.
The cargo was discharged by floating cranes enabling the vessel to refloat and divers to examine the hull.
Hull examination detected holes that were covered by doubling metal sheets to insure the Vessel’s floatability on the way to Kherson.
Just to remind that on January 27, 2014 m/v “Azovskiy Veter” in order to prevent flooding of the vessel and cargo was put aground off the coast of Ochakov. International Law Offices Interlegal continues legal support to the shipowner.
