There were also considered and compared procedures for international arbitration, namely, those ones of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) and the German Maritime Arbitration Association (GMAA). Moderators carried out a comparative analysis and dwelled upon advantages of the case hearing in LMAA over the other arbitration institutes and hearing of cases in economic courts. Moderators went into detail on the Regulations of the LMAA, types of the arbitration procedures, underlined the necessity of the arbitration clause entering into the contracts and its correct wording. Besides, there were touched upon the issues of procedure and terms for enforcement of the foreign awards in Ukraine and abroad.
As usually, the master class was interspersed with practical examples based upon the cases pending in the LMAA.
The students showed high interest during the master class. Numerous questions were addressed to the moderators. It should be noted that the level of the students training gave the possibility to hold the master class in the atmosphere of a vivid communication and understanding of the essence. {BR}{BR} International Law Offices thanks administration of Odessa National Maritime Academy, Dean of the Maritime Law and Management Department, Inna Boyko, and the Nautical Institute of Ukraine for assistance in organizing of such master classes.
