Development of the Draft Law on the International Register of Ukrainian Vessels

On the 28th of January 2014 Arthur Nitsevych and Nikolay Melnykov, partners of Interlegal, took part in the meeting upon development of the Draft Law of Ukraine on the “International Register of Ukrainian Vessels. The meeting was initiated by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine headed by Dmytro Demidovych, Deputy Minister. Members of the conference were managers of maritime industry of Ukraine (Department of State Policy in Marine and River Transport in the person of V. Sevryukov, Ukrainian Marine and River Inspection in the person of G. Sobolevskiy, Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine in the person of Yu. Vaskov etc.)  and representatives of science (Odessa National Marine University in the person of I. Morozova and Odessa National Marine Academy in the person of M. Miyusov, A. Shemyakin etc.).

At the meeting participants discussed conception of Register creation and functioning. We are expecting interesting work ahead!
