Lawyer of Interlegal presented case-study at the 2nd Arbitration School in Kiev

On the 7th – 11th of May the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and the Students’ League of UBA held the 2nd Arbitration School in Kiev.
On the 10th of May 2010 Dmitriy Zagorodnyuk, lawyer of Interlegal, made his presentation “Introduction to trade commodities and Maritime Arbitration”.
The main idea of the report was familiarization of school members with GAFTA, FOSFA and LMAA arbitrations, not only in theory but also from the side of real practice.
Dmitriy presented a short introduction of arbitration regulations and procedures and then gave a study based on cases from his own practice to school members.
In the process of case study he showed the work of abovementioned arbitrations in details, legal assessment was given to the parties’ position as well as arbitrators’ awards were reviewed and analyzed.
