  • Preparation of contracts and agreements for maritime transportation (charters, bareboat charters, time charters, voyage charters).

  • Review of trading schemes, contracts and service agreements, identification of risks and recommendations for their mitigation.
  • Due diligence of counterparties, companies and assets in Ukraine.
  • Negotiations with insurance companies and recovery of insurance amounts.
  • Advice on trade finance, letters of credit, security for obligations and settlements (pledge, surety, bank guarantee, insurance company guarantee).
  • Working with pro forma charters (Gencon, Synacomex, Baltime, etc.).
  • Settlement of demurrage and steel issues, non-delivery, incorrect delivery, delayed delivery of goods.
  • Assistance with customs formalities.

If your rights have been violated or a dispute has arisen:

  • Pre-arbitration “amicable” settlement of disputes with a 70% probability of achieving a result without the need for arbitration costs.
  • Defence of interests in courts and arbitrations in Ukraine and abroad, as well as in international maritime arbitrations such as GAFTA, FOSFA, LMAA, etc.
  • Representation of clients in specialised GAFTA and FOSFA arbitrations, with the application of English law.
  • Representation of clients in the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian CCI (ICAC at the UCCI), the Maritime Arbitration Commission at the UCCI (MAC at the UCCI).

Removal of arrests from cargo:

  • Enforcement of international arbitration awards with preliminary seizure of assets.
  • Release of cargo from arrest in the port, at the terminal, on board the vessel, including cases of actions by state authorities.
  • Ensuring that the cargo is delivered to the port.
