Ship arrest as security of court decision enforcement

Interlegal secured the debtor’s ship arrest by the Ukrainian court in the case upon permission to enforce awards of the Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In particular, Interlegal experts, succeeding in traditional ship arrest practice, proved lawfulness and relevance of taking measures on claim security both at the first instance court and at the court of appeal which reconsidered the ruling on ship arrest. They secured enforcement of the international arbitration award and satisfied claims of the Ukrainian ship repair company.
