Ship arrest on the grounds of maritime claim

Summarizing the results of last week, Interlegal experts once again succeeded in efficient ship arrest. In particular, the list of the company’s achievements was replenished by arrest of m/v “Octopus” on the grounds of maritime claim which arose due to fuel supply to the vessel.
Ship arrest was imposed as claim security in respect of debt recovery for fuel supply against a foreign company-shipowner. Ship arrest will remain in force until the court makes an award on the merits and will serve as a key motivator for shipowner to enter into negotiations upon settlement of dispute.
