Three Interlegal partners joined Top 500 leading shipping lawyers worldwide according to Lawdragon

Interlegal partners Arthur Nitsevych, Mykola Melnykov and Karyna Gorovaya joined the debut international ranking The 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in Maritime, Admiralty & The High Seas, published by the American legal media Lawdragon.
This is the first edition of Lawdragon rating that covered solely shipping industry. It brought together 500 lawyers worldwide engaged in shipping, international maritime disputes, offshore energy, yachting and other key areas of the global maritime industry.
Ranking included only 4 lawyers from Ukraine, three of them represented Interlegal.
Arthur Nitsevych is Interlegal partner, advocate with over 25 years of experience in transport, shipping and international trade, member of the London Association of Maritime Arbitrators (LMAA) and the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA). His specialization is legal support of investment and infrastructure projects in transport industry, port and terminal development, public-private partnership projects, corporate structuring, participation in international tenders, conducting complex commercial negotiations, drawing up and entry into international treaties.
Mykola Melnykov is Interlegal partner, one of the leading Ukrainian experts in shipping and international commercial arbitration with over 30 years of practice, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, member of the LMAA and the German Maritime Arbitration Association (GMAA). His specialization is legal support clients in shipping business creation and structuring, fleet development, vessel sale and purchase, launching investment projects, participation in international tenders. His special work area is legal support for yachting: from private yacht purchase, registration and operation up to organization of chartering activities.
Karyna Gorovaya is Interlegal partner, head of the Transport & Shipping Department at Interlegal, expert in English law, international trade, maritime disputes and claims handling with over 18 years of experience, engaged in legal support of international transport and trade projects, legal advice for forwarders, carriers, charterers, shipowners and cargo owners, representation and defense of their interests at courts and leading international arbitrations, in particular, LMAA, GAFTA, FOSFA, LCIA. She is a recommended arbitrator of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as head of Interlegal China Desk which provides legal support in relations with Chinese counterparties.
