UPD: Successful appeal in favor of Interlegal client

As we noted before, Interlegal lawyers succeeded in defending rights of their Client – a large international forwarding company, in the dispute against carrier concerning cargo damage during transportation by road, followed by essential material losses incurred by the Client.
Despite the opponent’s active counteractions, the Client won case proceedings both at the first instance court and at the court of appeal, followed by the stage of enforcement.Due to complex situation in Ukraine, there was a risk of delaying commencement of enforcement proceedings, caused by complex process of drafting and filing all the necessary documentation.But regular control over the situation, communication with court and enforcement officer facilitated avoidance of undesirable delays, having initiated enforcement proceedings as quickly as possible.Due to such prompt actions, the opponent was unable to take any actions aimed to evade enforcement of the court decision. As the result, on the first day after initiating enforcement proceedings, the opponent’s accounts turned out to have enough funds for debt recovery against the Client.It should be noted that Interlegal teamwork facilitated not only principal debt recovery by the Client, but also legal assistance costs recovery at both instances.Interlegal lawyer Nikita Kocherba and junior lawyer Viacheslav Solodenko, managed by associated partner Karyna Gorovaya, led the case.
