As we stated before, Interlegal law team succeeded in defense of the Client’s interests in the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, upon the dispute against unfair debtor.

By general procedure, arbitration award should be recognized by the national court under special procedure, in order to be able to enforce it at the territory of Ukraine.

In our case, such process was complicated both by the supplier’s counteractions (the latter tried to find arguments in order to persuade the national court not to recognize arbitration award) and by objective circumstances, i.e. hostilities which affected functioning the judicial system in Ukraine.

Despite such circumstances, Interlegal lawyers regularly kept contacts with the courts and facilitated case consideration on recognition of arbitration award as quickly as possible.

At the first court hearing on the merits, the court supported the Client’s position and issued a decision on recognition of arbitration award and granting permission to enforce it at the territory of Ukraine.

Therefore, despite the hard situation in Ukraine, Interlegal Client promptly gained an option to charge the debt amount from its supplier.

Today, Interlegal law team is ready to represent your business interests at the national court and to facilitate quick case consideration without delays caused by hostilities in our state.

Interlegal lawyer Nikita Kocherba and junior lawyer Viacheslav Solodenko, managed by senior associate Karyna Gorovaya, are leading the case.
