Limassol Boat Show 2024
Senior associate, Head of Yachting dept at Interlegal Valeriia Fetysenko recently attended the Limassol Boat Show 2024 - an annual event that brings together the latest in marine industry technology, luxury yachts, and watercraft from around the globe.
As ever, the event left a strong impression and provided a deep insight into the progress of the yachting industry.
“The hosts had promised to surpass their previous achievements and they certainly succeeded. The four-day show was packed with exciting presentations of new yachts and equipment, seminars, test-drives and live demonstrations. At least ten new yachts and boats were unveiled for the first time. Like many others, we were impressed by the debut of the new Lamborghini yacht, with its innovative engineering solutions and unique Italian-style design.
A notable feature is the ongoing interest from both manufacturers and potential buyers in green technologies. This is a segment of the show that is growing year on year.” said Valeriia.
Amidst the vibrant exhibits and impressive presentations at Limassol Boat Show 2024, there was also a space for professional networking.
The "2nd Limassol Boat Show Conference: Cyprus, the new yachting hub of the East Med" brought together industry professionals to discuss key issues for the positive development of the yachting sector in Cyprus and to analyze the need for a comprehensive / holistic EU policy exclusively for yachts.
“For us, participation in discussion was a must. Interlegal is strongly supports Cyprus' ambition to become the yachting hub of the Eastern Mediterranean. The Interlegal Cyprus office has made a significant contribution to the expansion and support of the local yachting industry and the development of Cyprus as a premier yachting destination," Valeriia remarked.
“Over the past decades, the Republic of Cyprus has successfully built a positive image and reputation as a reliable, reputable jurisdiction for yacht registration and charter activities. The Cyprus flag stands high in international ranks and the local yachting community continues to grow, attracting yachtsmen from all over Europe. Events such as the Limassol Boat Show play a valuable role in facilitating this growth. We are proud to be part of this event and to contribute to the success and progress of Cyprus's yachting".
