A traditional for the Black Sea region event Breakbulk Turkey 2014 was held on November 18-19 in Istanbul. This year Breakbulk Turkey became the second time when Inerlegal participated both in the Exhibition with its own stand and in the Conference. Exhibiting this year was especially remarkable, hence, Interlegal strengthened its positions in Turkey – Mehmet Dogu, partner of Dogu law office recently became a partner of Interlegal leading the practice in Turkey.

Partners of Interlegal Arthur Nitsevych, Nikolay Melnykov and Natalia Myroshnychenko prepared a presentation which was followed by the Panel discussion “Ukrainian Stormfront and impact on shipping in the Black Sea”. It was focused on major problems in the industry raised by recent changes in political situation: legal status of Azov Sea and Kerch strait, vessels calls at Crimean ports, sanctions and their influence on charterparties and bills of lading (detention and arrest, force-majeure, deviation, attachment of funds, etc.).

The talk  presented by Arthur Nitsevych and comments from Borys Khrebtov (Maxmarine), Eduard Machavariani (Interlegal, Georgia), Mehmet Dogu (Interlegal-Dogu, Turkey), Valentin Bokatyy (NPT) released vivid discussion and storm of questions related to top-hot for today Black Sea shipping and logistic industry.
