Breakbulk Turkey 2013

This fall, November 18-19, “Interlegal” actively participated in one of the widely known events in shipping industry - “Breakbulk Turkey” 2013, Istanbul. This is one of the remarkable congresses of the year and the excellent networking opportunity in Europe for cargo owners/shippers, carriers, freight forwarders, ports & terminals.

“Interlegal” shared exhibition stand this year together with Do?u Law Office, Turkey. Nikolay Melnykov and Natalia Myroshnychenko presented our company at this event where they used all opportunities for worldwide networking with shipping industry leaders.

Natalya Myroshnychenko and Nikolay Melnykov organized panel discussion “Sudden winter” on the second conference day. Panel discussion started with presentation uncovering striking problems caused by ice in ports of Black Sea/Azov sea region: delays in loading/discharge, freezing into ice and damages, detention, ice convoys and salvage operations. Followed up discussion led by Nikolay and Natalia revealed participants’ experience aimed to better understanding of ice clauses and helped defining consequences and proper solutions in real sever winter conditions. Live discussion unfortunately was restricted by panel’s time frames.

Participation of “Interlegal” in “Breakbulk Turkey” 2013 congress was very useful and successful. It proved top level qualification of “Interlegal” partners and their top-notch capabilities to organize and run international forums and discussions.
