Namely, the speech of Vladimir Torskiy (Professor, Honourary Member of NIU, FNI) was fully dedicated to ILO Maritime Convention: Liability of Interested Parties. Mr. Torskiy covered various points of view and approaches to employment of a Ukrainian seafarer due to the effect caused by the Convention.

Legal regulation of the crewing companies was covered by Yuriy Sergeyev (Managing Partner of “Sergeyev Legal Bureau”) and Nataliya Myroshnychenko (Lawyer of International Law Offices). The speech of Nataliya Myroshnychenko named Claims of the Crew Members and Judicial Practice in Ukraine{/B} was accompanied by illustrative practical examples and brought a vivid discussion of the audience. The very discussion of Nataliya’ report initiated debates at the round table.
