Grain forum-2007

On the 29-30th of May, 2007 the 6th international conference Grain forum-2007” was held in the hotel “Odessa”, in the city of Odessa.

Taras Shepel, the Partner, attorney at law took part in the conference from the International Law Offices. He introduced his report “Peculiarities of grain trade under conditions CIF” on the 30th of May, the second day of the conference. The speech of Shepel affected a great interest, arose many questions and discussion that involved representatives of certain sectors of agrarian business.

About the conference

The conference gathered more then 300 participants. It was held within framework of forum that included additionally the tour of representatives of grain trading companies to Black sea ports. On the 1st day of the tour the representatives of grain traders attended the maritime conference “Practice of maritime business: sharing experience” which was organized by International Law Offices. The international representatives had an opportunity to communicate with representatives of ports and legal departments on the issues of management and investments in ports.

On the freshold of the new season a number of traditional questions appears in front of the participants: perspectives of the future harvest, export of the grain and its prices.

The representatives of the grain business will be able to discuss the perspectives of the future harvest in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and to analyze not simple situation of the Ukrainian market and to discuss its influence on grain trade in general on the 6th international conference “Grain forum-2007”
