Interlegal - General Partner of the 6th All-Ukrainian Maritime Law School

Interlegal became the General Partner of the 6^th All-Ukrainian Maritime Law School held on April 16-17, 2016, at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”. The event was organized by the Students’ League of the Ukrainian Bar Association and the National University “Odessa Law Academy”. The first All-Ukrainian Maritime Law School was held in 2011 and since then Interlegal has become its traditional partner. This year a record-breaking number of 110 participants, willing to expand their knowledge in maritime law, visited Odessa. All-Ukrainian Maritime Law School lasted for two days. On the first day the leading maritime lawyers presented their lectures and reports to students.

Andrey Perepelitsa, senior lawyer of Interlegal, presented an interactive case study based on Interlegal daily practice. Interactive presentation aroused questions among students and lots of positive emotions and we hope, this inspiration of the young Maritime Law School audience will stay long.

The second day was devoted to practical application of skills: students studied four models of court sessions upon different proceedings. Vitaliy Tolstik, lawyer of Interlegal, acted as a judge in the training criminal proceedings based also on transportation business.

In the end of the Maritime Law School, the best 10 students got awards from the General Partner – a set of books and guidebooks from the Interlegal maritime law library written by the best practicing lawyers of our firm. And, of course, they were invited for a traineeship to Interlegal.
