Interlegal was a partner of the International Forum «Cargo Transportation in Black and Caspian Sea Regions» organized by Viva Consult and held in Batumi on September, 24-25.
The 1st session “Shipping in the Black Sea region: main cargos and trade forecasts” was moderated by Nikolay Melnykov, partner of Interlegal. Special topic of the session was the report “Risks in cargo transportation” presented by Andrey Perepelitsa, senior lawyer of Interlegal.
This year key topics of the forum were the following:
- Dry bulk cargo transportation basic trends: grain, metallurgical products, fertilizers.
- Container shipping potential in the Black sea region in 2016. Positions of the leading operators.
- Train-ferries development in the Black sea region.
- Railway and Ro-Ro service via the port of the Caspian Sea. New terminals construction.
- Cargo transit between the Black and the Caspian Sea in view of the sea and railway carriage.
- Redistribution of the dry bulk cargo shipping due to changes in the economic and political situation in Ukraine.
