International Black Sea Forum 2010

The 9th International Exhibition on Shipping, Shipbuilding, Port Development and Trade ‘Odessa 216’ has held on 20-22 October 2010 in the territory of Odessa Passenger Terminal.

The International Black Sea Forum was held within the framework of that exhibition.

Olena Losevska, Partner of International Law Offices, participated in the 13th conference on transport and logistics ‘Ukrainian Transport Strategy’.

The Conference gathered the delegates on 20-21 October 2010 in the territory of Odessa Passenger Terminal.

The opening speech was made by the representative of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine.

Later on Yuriy Vaskov, the First Deputy Head of Odessa Commercial Sea Port and Peter Suvorov, Deputy General Director of the Danube Committee (Hungary) made their speeches.

‘The Key Issues of the Ukrainian Port Development at the Present Stage’ was a speech made by Georgy Tokman, Executive Director of BASBA (Black and Azov Seas Ports Association).

The Section ‘International Transport Corridors’ proceeded to the speech of Olena Losevska ‘Ports and Terminals Investment Development’.

The key goal of the conference, analysis of the Ukrainian and foreign experience in multimodal carriages, discussion of the existing problems, establishment of new business contacts, extension and strengthening of the relations between the Ukrainian and foreign experts, was successfully achieved.
