This year the event organized by Marine Services Group gathered together about 130 guests - shipowners and shipping industry representatives of such countries as Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Austria.

Olena Ptashenchuk presented two lectures “Peculiarities of shipbuilding contract conclusion” and “Force majeure in commercial contracts”.

Ekaterina Gadetskaya, lawyer of Interlegal, held workshops at the National University “Odessa Law Academy” and the Odessa National Maritime University, with two lectures: “Five mistakes in conclusion of the international contracts” and “Peculiarities of maritime and commercial arbitration”.

Vyacheslav Lebedev, consultant of Interlegal, participated in the Round Table on International Maritime Law, held at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”, with the report “Maritime law unification: is the unified law regime possible?” prepared jointly with Victoria Russeva, lawyer of Interlegal, graduate of this University.

On April 20-21, 2016, Interlegal Workspace was organized in the framework of the 13th International Conference "BLACK SEA GRAIN 2016: TRADE MUST GO ON" held at the Intercontinental hotel, Kiev.

On April 21-22, Ekaterina Gadetskaya, lawyer of Interlegal, participated in two events on fraud prevention in agricultural sector: ProAgro Conference “Risks and Fraud Prevention” held at the Alfavito Hotel, Kyiv, on April 21, and Anti-fraud Forum organized by VlasConference and held at the Opera Hotel on April 22.

Artem Skorobogatov, the associated partner of Interlegal, participated in the 8th Annual In-House Counsel Conference of the Ukrainian Bar Association held in Kiev on April, 22.

The 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Maritime law and management: evolution and current challenges" was held at the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”, under the auspices of this University, the Ukrainian Maritime Law Association, Odessa branch of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and the Nautical Institute of Ukraine – Ukrainian branch of the Nautical Institute.

On Wednesday, 19.04.2016, at the Interlegal office, members of the Nautical Institute of Ukraine met Phillip Wake, CEO of the Nautical Institute. At the meeting, CEO of the Nautical Institute informed about the Institute’s latest initiatives, such as insurance for seamen – Institute members against criminal cases, advantages of the members’ online-portfolios under the auspices of the Institute, and many others.

Interlegal became the General Partner of the 6th All-Ukrainian Maritime Law School held on April 16-17, 2016, at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”. The event was organized by the Students’ League of the Ukrainian Bar Association and the National University “Odessa Law Academy”.
