Interlegal assistance in drafting agreement between the Shipowner and the Fleet Manager

The Client – fleet manager – applied to Interlegal for drafting a dispute settlement agreement with the Shipowner, in order to optimize their further joint business.

Long-term relations between the Shipowner and the Managing Company resulted in several unsettled issues. In aggregate, such issues complicated further relations and therefore essentially reduced business efficiency.

The task was to indicate all the disputed issues in a single document, so that its performance could be as simple & effective as possible, whereunder the Parties could achieve mutual understanding aimed at their further fruitful cooperation.

Interlegal team drafted a unified agreement, covering all the unsettled aspects that caused misunderstanding between the Parties, while its proper performance facilitated balance of commercial relations between the Shipowner and the Fleet Manager.
