In compliance with International Conventions aimed at commercial vessel safety, each vessel should be subject to inspection and should have appropriate certificates issued.

Interlegal regular client, a Turkish company – the owner of several vessels registered under the Panamanian flag, applied for issuing certificates requested by the Panama Maritime Authority.

All the vessels flying under the Panamanian flag and covered by SOLAS, Part XI-1, Regulation 5, should have onboard Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR) issued by the Panama Maritime Authority.

CSR provides an opportunity for representatives of official authorities to study previous amendments to data about the vessel.

In accordance with the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments, the Panama Maritime Authority requires for International Ballast Water Management Certificate.

Interlegal lawyers successfully issued the updated Continuous Synopsis Record and International Ballast Water Management Certificate.

In the process of issuing CSR, the Shipowner Company also obtained IMO number.

Previously, Interlegal lawyers succeeded in changing the owner of several vessels in the Panama Ship Registry.

Interlegal associate attorney Daria Liashenko and lawyer Alyona Remenyak, managed by partner Irina Voyevodina, led the project.
