Topic of the presentation:

Vessel delays related to receiving and processing of the documents and demurrage.

Presentation is based on the Company’s practice in sea transportation of grain cargos.

The expert will tell in its presentation about the practice of loss regulation due to demurrage of the vessels regarding to the document processing.

The risks related to the peculiarities of local legislation, ignorance whereof or impossibility of operative response whereon causes supply breakdown followed by the claims from buyers and ship owners will be illustrated by the examples from practice.

Such demurrages are especially bad for those ship owners which are jointly the ship freighters because they have obligations both before the ship owner under the charter and before the buyer under the corresponding sale and purchase agreement.
