Interlegal with the associated office in Istanbul represented the ship owner’s interests in proceedings on release of the vessel arrested within the jurisdiction of Turkey due to the ship chandler’s claim. Settlement of the dispute, conclusion of amicable agreement and procedural actions towards the release of the vessel were successfully taken within 48 hours. It allowed to exclude ship owner’s losses caused by vessel detention and to avoid frustration of the scheduled voyage.
