The Client, having maritime claims against the vessel, filed a request to Interlegal on possible ship arrest for the purpose of claim security against the debtor. Prompt response of Interlegal lawyer and coordinated teamwork with the Turkish office facilitated tracing the vessel which stayed at one of the Turkish ports. Interlegal lawyers drafted the necessary documents as soon as possible and filed the relevant application on ship arrest to the court. After the court satisfied the application on ship arrest, lawyers enforced the court decision in due time.

As shown by Interlegal long-term experience, similar measures result in more productive negotiations between the Client and the debtor upon dispute settlement and debt recovery under the contract.

Interlegal attorney-at-law Vitalii Tolstik and senior lawyer Alexey Remeslo, jointly with Interlegal Turkish office, led the case.
