International Business Seminar in Odessa

Interlegal annual seminar «International Business: Companies, Accounts and Taxes» was held traditionally in Odessa. Participants discussed news and trends of using non-resident companies in business.

Interlegal partners Valerian Imnaishvili (Georgia) and Mladen Popov (Bulgaria) shared specifications of company registration and opening accounts in respective countries.

George Zambartas  (L.G. ZAMBARTAS LLC, Cyprus, Interlegal associated office) highlighted vital trends in Cyprus bank policy.

Seminar participants – agricultural, maritime and IT company managers discussed such issues as tax information exchange, asset defense in Ukraina and abroad, safety and many other issues.

In particular, Interlegal partner Irina Voyevodina and lawyer Viktoria Ruseva touched peculiarities of asset and holding company ownership in Ukraine and latest trends in non-resident company ownership.

In the Section 2, Anna Nevmerzhytska (PWC) presented practical aspects of CRS & BEPS, while Interlegal partner Nikolay Melnykov told about the opportunities of yacht purchase based on experience and expertize of yachting practice.

In the end of the seminar, participants could talk to Sergey Gontarovskiy (Triada Audit Company) about 2018 trends in operations with non-residents. Interlegal attorney-at-law Ellina Romanova reported on business rules of behavior in search, seizure, inspection and non-disclosed investigation of law enforcement bodies.

Panel discussion “Practical aspects of regular cooperation with non-residents”, moderated by Interlegal partner Arthur Nitsevych, closed the seminar.
